not too high, not too low is a group exhibition that invites comic book artists and cartoonists to make work for a gallery setting. Curator Amy Lokoff has challenged the 6 participating artists to subvert the traditional elements of their genre: work that is narrative, two dimensional, handheld, and considered commercial or trite by the mainstream fine art world. This show reconsiders their artistic practice as one that requires technical and conceptual skill and explores the line between high and low culture.
I will be exhibiting my series, "Moments". The pieces themselves will be for sale as well as some of my zines being available in the gallery gift shop.
